  • Q: WHICH IS THE RIGHT WEIGHT RANGE FOR YOU?

    Think about your body structure: even if you think that up to 4 kg (8.9 lbs)  is not much, when you put this kind of weight in motion with dynamic movements (or in a slow and controlled manner), the FITSWORD® will feel heavy.

     

    You can make a test at home with a dumbbell. Wield it as a sword and mimic cuts and thrusts at different angles, with the arms extended. Make some repetitions to feel the muscles work.

     

    If you can’t wield the weight selected with good posture, then try with less weight.

    This process, should give you an idea of the right weight range for you.

     

    Don't forget that training with the right weight allows you:

    • to do the exercises with good posture and good form;
    • to feel a nice healthy fatigue;
    • to improve without risking to hurt yourself.

  • A: I'M NOT VERY STRONG

    Whether you have a small body structure or you are not so strong, you should consider buying the WHITE FITSWORD (1.5 kg - 3,3 lbs), as it is already heavy enough for your training.

    It's heavy as the short sword used by gladiators in combat. It's also perfect to learn freestyle and dexterity moves.

     

    If you want a tool that let you increase the weight in a progressive way, you can also order the FITSWORD MODULAR (1,2 to 2,7 kg - 2,7 to 6 lbs), that has a weight range able to satisfy the need of 70% of the users.

     

  • A: I'M FIT

    If you are FIT and you are on a budget, you can order the BLACK FITSWORD (2,5 kg -  5,5 lbs). We experimented with many people that 2,5 kg are a good training weight.

     

    Obviously, if you want a more versatile tool, we suggest you the FITSWORD MODULAR (1,2 to 2,7 kg - 2,7 to 6 lbs) as the chance to reduce or increase the weight is more user friendly when you try  dexterity and freestyle moves, or learning combat techniques.

     

  • A: I'M VERY FIT

    If you want to train with maximum intensity, the FITSWORD® Modular Pro (1,5 to 4 kg - 3,3 to 8.9 lbs), is the right choice for you.

     

    This weight range is good for all athletes with a good or excellent physical preparation, and for all the users that want a tool that will guarantee overtime a progressive training  on all sport applications (fitness, cardio, dexterity, rehab, endurance, strength, combat).

     

    This is the perfect tool also for the personal trainer, to be used with the beginner and with the advanced athlete (given the wider weight range).

     

  • A: I OWN A TRAINING CENTER

    For Gyms and Training Centers, we designed the White and Black FITSWORD®, with fixed weight.

     

    They are the perfect solution for groups and classes with a tool that is simple, sturdy and affordable.  You can order a mix of White and Black FITSWORD, to have the right weight for any client's  body type.   • DON'T WORRY. IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT THE WEIGHT

    The FITSWORD is a multi purpose training tool. It's strength, cardio and mobility training, all together in  the same session.

     

    Strength it's not all about weight.

    Training with limited weight doesn’t mean that the training is not effective to increase the strength.

     

    Thanks to the momentum created with the circular motion, you increase the strength without placing unnecessary strain on joints and connective tissues. Instead you strengthen the joints through traction and shock absorption of repeated movements. This is physics applied to human mechanic: swinging the FITSWORD® twice as fast produces four times the torque and momentum, hence the superior strength conditioning.

     

    You can get your heart rate up and get cardio.

    Cardio is not just running. Cardio is getting your heart rate up and keep it there, and that's what you do with a FITSWORD session. Coupling lower body exercises with arms exercises is a great way to elevate heart rate, challenge the core muscles and strengthen the entire body.

    While one muscle group is recovering, another is fresh for the next set of reps and you're constantly moving from one exercise to the next.

     

    Mobility bundled with strength and cardio.

    While most classic gym exercises work the shoulder through few degrees of its entire range of motion, the FITSWORD® allow the shoulder to be trained through nearly its entire range of motion, producing a stimulus that has such positive effects impossible to get with more conventional trainings.
